The Union Barrack-Ades, organized in 1942 by Ada and Ernest L. Grawemeyer, was a USO-type troupe which toured the Third and Fifth Army bases, including, Fort Bragg (North Carolina), Fort Benning (Georgia), Fort Rucker, (Alabama), Fort Benjamin Harrison (Indiana), Fort Carson (Colorado), and Fort Riley (Kansas).
